PEER MEDIATION INVITATIONAL (PMI)

Join us for the Peer Mediation Invitational (PMI) 2026, continuing the legacy of building youth leadership, strengthening school communities, and transforming conflict through the power of mediation.

In 2026, WJC will once again bring together more than 500 students, along with educators, school staff, and volunteer mediation mentors, for one of the largest gatherings of young peacebuilders in Los Angeles County.

What began as a small pilot at the Maxwell House and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has grown into a countywide movement. PMI now draws students from dozens of schools and districts to the expansive California Endowment building, creating space for youth to lead restorative conversations, practice mediation, and build bridges across difference.

PMI is not just an event. It is a training ground for the next generation of changemakers. Students leave with skills to navigate conflict, repair harm, and foster belonging in their schools and communities.
