Volunteer for PMI 2026

We are recruiting more than 80 volunteers each day to help make PMI possible, including 70 Mediation Mentors and 10 General Volunteers.

Whether you have a background in mediation or simply believe in the power of youth leadership, there’s many opportunities for you.

Volunteering at PMI is more than helping out. It is standing alongside students as they learn to navigate conflict, practice empathy, and lead with compassion.

Two Ways to Volunteer

Mediation Mentors: Whether you’re a professional mediator, attorney or judge, or studying to become one, PMI is for you. You’ll guide students through live mediation sessions, model real-world skills, and help shape the next generation of peacemakers.

General Volunteers: Not in the mediation field? You can still play a key role. Support student workshops, assist with logistics, and help create a welcoming space where students can lead and learn.

These kids are future leaders. And you’ll feel good about playing a small part in their exciting personal journeys. You’ll have fun. You’ll be impressed. And you’ll feel inspired!
