Peacebuilding Brownbags are periodic informational and capacity-building training forums where Pasadena, Altadena and surrounding area community members can:
- Build a more comprehensive understanding of inter-group relations issues
- Address issues of violence prevention
- Share best practices and models in inter-group relations building and violence prevention
- Learn about available resources and how to access them
Topics for Peacebuilding Brownbags were identified by community members at previously held community dialogues due to their importance for building inter-group relations and preventing violence. Participants at these forums will also help determine future topics based on issues they feel would be beneficial to address.
