Western Justice Center is holding the next FREE session of ABCs of Conflict - a conflict resolution training for educators and youth-service providers - on July 11-15, 9:00am to 4:30pm each day at the Western Justice Center headquarters, located at 55 S. Grand Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91105. We would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word!
Please encourage all middle and high school educators to apply for the training to learn how to integrate conflict resolution into their classes, schools, and youth-serving organizations.
Training participants will:
- Learn concepts and skills to enhance their ability to resolve conflicts with youth, students, colleagues, and community members.
- Receive conflict resolution lessons to bring back to the students and youth with whom they work.
- Gain tools to create mediation and other conflict resolution programs at their schools and organizations.
- Network with other educators and professionals from schools and youth-serving organizations.
Participants who successfully complete the full 30 hours will receive a Certificate of Completion and be eligible for 1 Continuing Education Credit (cost of $85) or an LAUSD Salary Point with multicultural credit.
Please note: Space is limited, and all applicants will receive an email letting them know whether or not they have been invited to participate. Only those with acceptance notices are able to participate in the training.
