Dic Entertainment and WJCF Join Forces to develop Pro - Social content in childrens
  programming
Partnership Formed to Create Series of PSA's Addressing "Bullying" in Schools and to
Incorporate Messaging in Select Episodes of DIC Programing.

Burbank, California, September 7, 2006 -- DIC Entertainment (DIC) and the non-profit
Western Justice Center Foundation (WJCF), join forces to develop a series of Public
Service Announcements, as well as content for children's programming that teaches
children conflict resolution.

DIC and WJCF began their collaboration on an episode of the new animated adventure
series, "Horseland," which will begin airing this September on the "KOL Secret Slumber
Party" programming block on CBS. DIC and WJCF will continue to review opportunities to
develop content that incorporates messaging concerning "bullying," which has become a
growing national concern. In particular the trend of violent acts by girls is one the rise. For
example, According to the FBI's Uniform Crime Report, the number of girls 10 to 17 arrested
for aggravated assault has doubled over the last 20 years. The "Horseland" episode targets
the young end of this demographic with an entertaining and positive story on the effect of
gossip on young girls' friendship.   Additionally, DIC and WJCF will create PSA's addressing
the issue that will air on DIC Kids' Network, a syndicated E/I programming block that airs on
over 300 stations in the U.S.

"Children represent a uniquely impressionable audience, so our objective is not only to
entertain them but to incorporate healthy and positive messages in our programs," comments
Robby London, Executive Vice President Creative Affairs for DIC.  "Many researchers contend
that 'bullying' is a key underlying cause of the most horrific incidents of school violence.  Western
Justice Center Foundation has developed proven techniques specifically targeting this behavior
and we feel it is crucial to help them disseminate this information to kids."

"We are thrilled to offer our expertise to DIC in their efforts to incorporate pro-social messaging
for kids in their programming," comments Najeeba Syeed-Miller, Executive Director, WJCF.
"Each year, the lives of over 5000 children are changed through their exposure to our interactive
conflict resolution curriculum, and we look forward to bringing our expertise in this arena to an
even broader audience provided by television."

DIC has a history of collaborating with experts in children's media and education to develop the
company's content.  In 2004, DIC established The DIC Educational Advisory Board, chaired by
London, which is comprised of leading media experts, educators and pediatricians.  The Board
offers counsel to DIC creators and executives regarding the physical, social, emotional and
cognitive theories and practices related to children, and the role of various forms of media and
products in their learning and development.

DIC Entertainment, a fully-integrated global brand management company, is dedicated to
creating, developing, producing, distributing, marketing and merchandising family-based
